ROCK AND ROLL REVIVAL

Rock and roll revival is hard to define because it changes into something
new every day. I always tell people that it is a movement- it has the
potential to change our outlooks and our expectation, and in turn our
goals and our accepted assumptions. It has the ability to move people
towards more positive states of mind and bring unity into our artistic
community. I do admit that this is an ideal goal that seems a bit optimistic
and foolish, but after what has been done in the last few months, I have
more faith in it than ever before. Rock and roll revival is nothing but an
idea that gets into our minds and exists in our lives. It continues to grow
because it has good intentions and enthusiastic people behind it. It came
about because I saw an opportunity- I saw a way of connecting with
people that would help them recognize their true potential and see that
they have a lot to give. Our world is what we make it and we need to
accept this now more than ever. So far, I have worked hard and I have
seen real results. I have tried to share with others the goals that I have,
with the hope that they will recognize how much of a difference we can
make if we really work hard together.
In the last few months I have found more and more people who are
becoming part of the movement. Venues, artists, bands, businesses, and
people of all unique walks of life- these people bring the energy that
makes it all possible. They share their talents, knowing that they can
inspire others to do the same. The charity show in August was a success
and that is just the beginning.
There have been nothing but positive outcomes since the movement
began. New protects have been started and new relation ships have been
formed. We can help each other grow while continuing with the
momentum that the movement needs in order to gain more influence. I
started this thing because I know that we can make a difference. I know
that music is a powerful form of expression that can bring people together.
It has the power to move people toward action and it inspires other forms
of expression. All that I am asking of you is to see how you can get
involved.
There are many ways that people can get involved in the movement. An
easy way is to show up at an event and be a part of it by being here. You
can sign up on the website, you can spread the word, or you can bring
your talents onto the stage. We are looking for artists, activists, writers,
and people who are willing to be a part of something that they may not yet
understand.
Rock and roll revival is for people who are enthusiastic and who know
that the world is what we make it. It is for people who know that they will
accomplish anything they put their minds to. Rock and roll revival is a
movement and movements need people who believe in something bigger
than themselves. You have to understand that we have power in
numbers. You must recognize that our world can reflect the ideas we have
about our identity, our purpose, and our world- on both an individual and
collective basis. It is about creating something that everyone can be a part
of and I Thank you for being a part of it tonight.

"Hey Rich.  The Show was awesome.  It was a great turnout and a very relaxed and
funky atmosphere.  The Elastics were the Hightlight of the night and it brings a tear to
my eye to see them go their separate ways.  They really had something there and you
did a great job of getting their names out there.  Good times had by all!!!!!!!
Great Job Rich and i wish the Rock and Roll Revival plenty of success,"
